If you love Autumn colors and want to bring that feeling indoors with arrangements that look rich, you don't have to spend a fortune.
For instance, you can use very inexpensive synthetic flowers and make them look amazing with a few tricks.
We decided to try use artist's oil paints to color our synthetic flowers.
If you ever used Rub N Buff, this is a similar concept.
We blended red and brown and just a little blue and white.
You can blend with linseed oil, though this can effect drying time.
No need to be perfect, nature lets all the flaws work together too.
Paint with your fingers or a brush. Let dry for several days.
You'll create a look that is unique to your home, unlike anyone else's.
