Rolls of beautiful paper and ribbon are two of my favorite things to stockpile after Christmas when prices are deeply discounted, but when you're overstocked, this is a good way to re-purpose them into something both decorative and functional.
These shoe boxes and lids are covered with matching and contrasting papers, decorated with recycled ribbons and Christmas cards, stickers, and glittery holly leaves.
I use these for ornament storage, with recycled tissue papers inside to protect delicate collectibles.
After decorating the tree with the contents, these look great stacked nearby to add atmosphere to a room.
