Here are some example photos of damping off disease from extention services. We used to have this problem with our seedling. But, no more.
Chamomile tea is a natural bleach and has completely stopped damping off disease on our seedlings.
It's such a lovely herb. We love it in the garden as well.
Another way to help stop damping off disease is to bottom water your pots.
You can also top your pots with a touch of peat moss.
Left over chamomile tea can be used on house plants ... ours seem to love it.
If you don't grow and dry your own chamomile, do what we do. Throw a tea bag in water and let it steep overnight.
We're never without chamomile tea. It's also a great tea before bed time too. It is a muscle relaxer and fragrant for sweet dreams.
